1. Our Commitment

SeenLoop LLC is committed to ensuring that our website and all digital services are accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone, regardless of ability, deserves equal access to digital content and services.

We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards as established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Achieving full accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are continuously working to identify and resolve barriers on our platform.

Our accessibility commitment covers SeenLoop's public website, client portal, order forms, and all digital communications. We welcome feedback from users who encounter accessibility challenges so we can improve.

This statement was last reviewed in January 2025. We conduct accessibility audits semi-annually and address findings on a rolling basis.

2. Standards We Follow

SeenLoop's accessibility efforts are guided by the following established standards and regulations:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA (W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines): The internationally recognized technical standard for web accessibility. Level AA is the benchmark for most legal accessibility requirements worldwide. Our target is full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance.
  • ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act): Title III of the ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in places of public accommodation. Courts and the Department of Justice have consistently interpreted this to cover websites and digital services open to the public.
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act: Requires federal agencies and organizations receiving federal funding to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. We apply Section 508 principles as a best practice.
  • WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications): A set of attributes that define ways to make web content and web applications more accessible to people with disabilities who use assistive technologies such as screen readers. We apply ARIA roles, states, and properties where needed to supplement native HTML semantics.

3. Measures We Take

SeenLoop actively implements the following accessibility measures across our digital properties:

  • Semantic HTML Structure: We use proper HTML5 semantic elements (header, nav, main, section, article, footer) to provide meaningful document structure for assistive technologies.
  • Sufficient Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, as required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Keyboard Navigation Support: All interactive elements, including navigation menus, forms, and buttons, are fully operable via keyboard alone without requiring a mouse.
  • Descriptive Alt Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes (alt="") so screen readers skip them.
  • Clear Focus Indicators: Keyboard focus is visually indicated on all interactive elements, allowing keyboard-only users to track their current position on the page.
  • Responsive Design: Our website adapts to all screen sizes and orientations, supporting users who zoom in to 200% or more, use mobile devices, or have low-vision requirements.
  • Readable Font Sizes: Body text is set at a minimum of 16px. Users can increase text size using browser settings without loss of content or functionality.
  • No Seizure-Triggering Content: We do not publish content that flashes more than 3 times per second to protect users with photosensitive epilepsy.
  • Form Labels and Error Messages: All form inputs have associated labels. Error messages are specific, descriptive, and indicate the field requiring correction.
  • Logical Heading Hierarchy: Page headings follow a logical hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3) enabling screen reader users to navigate efficiently by heading.

4. Technical Approach

Our technical implementation of accessibility features includes:

  • HTML5 Semantic Elements: Native semantic elements (nav, main, article, section, aside, header, footer) are used throughout the site to provide implicit landmark roles for assistive technology navigation.
  • CSS Media Queries for Responsive Design: Responsive breakpoints ensure the layout, typography, and interaction patterns adapt appropriately for different viewport sizes, zoom levels, and screen resolutions.
  • WAI-ARIA Roles and Labels: Where native HTML semantics are insufficient — such as for custom dropdown menus, modal dialogs, and dynamic content — we apply appropriate ARIA roles (role="navigation"), states (aria-expanded), and labels (aria-label, aria-labelledby).
  • Font Awesome Icons with aria-hidden="true": Decorative icons rendered with Font Awesome include the aria-hidden="true" attribute, preventing screen readers from announcing icon glyph names that would be meaningless to users.
  • Skip Navigation Links (Planned): We are implementing skip navigation links ("Skip to main content") to allow keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation blocks. This feature is planned for Q1 2025.
  • JavaScript Keyboard Event Handling: Interactive components implemented with JavaScript include keyboard event listeners for Enter, Space, Escape, and arrow keys, ensuring full keyboard operability without mouse interaction.

5. Known Limitations & Roadmap

While we work toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we acknowledge the following known limitations and our plans to address them:

  • PDF Documents: Some documents available for download (such as invoices and policy summaries) may not yet be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are in the process of converting these to accessible HTML versions. Target completion: Q2 2025.
  • Third-Party Embedded Content: Certain third-party components embedded on our pages — most notably Stripe's payment form iframes — are outside our direct control. These are hosted and maintained by their respective providers (Stripe), who maintain their own accessibility programs. We encourage users experiencing issues with these components to contact us so we can facilitate alternative arrangements.
  • Screen Reader Optimization: We are conducting a comprehensive screen reader audit using NVDA and VoiceOver in Q2 2025 to identify and resolve any remaining issues in dynamic content areas, modals, and form validation flows.
  • Skip Navigation Links: Currently planned; implementation scheduled for Q1 2025.
  • Complex Data Tables: Any complex pricing or comparison tables are being reviewed to ensure they include appropriate scope, headers, and summary attributes for screen reader accessibility.

We are committed to addressing all known limitations as part of our ongoing accessibility improvement roadmap. Findings from our semi-annual accessibility audits are prioritized in our development backlog.

6. Assistive Technology Compatibility

SeenLoop's website has been tested with or evaluated against the following assistive technologies and browser combinations:

  • NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access): Windows screen reader tested with Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10/11.
  • VoiceOver (macOS and iOS): Apple's built-in screen reader tested with Safari on macOS and iOS/iPadOS.
  • JAWS (Job Access With Speech): Partial testing conducted with JAWS on Windows with Internet Explorer and Chrome. Full JAWS audit planned for Q2 2025.
  • TalkBack (Android): Google's built-in screen reader tested with Chrome on Android devices.
  • Chrome Accessibility Tools: Google Chrome's built-in accessibility inspector and Lighthouse accessibility audit tool used for automated checking.
  • Microsoft Edge Accessibility Checker: Used for additional automated accessibility analysis and ARIA validation.
  • Zoom and Browser Magnification: Tested at 200% and 400% zoom to verify content reflow and readability at increased sizes.

We recommend using the most current version of your preferred assistive technology and browser combination for the best experience on our site. If you experience issues with a specific combination, please let us know.

7. Feedback & Accessibility Requests

  • US Access Board: The Access Board (access-board.gov) is an independent federal agency that develops and maintains accessibility guidelines. They can provide technical assistance and accept Section 508 complaints.
  • Section 508 Complaint Process: If you believe a website that receives federal funding is not meeting Section 508 requirements, you may file a complaint with the relevant federal agency's Section 508 program coordinator.
  • State-Level Protections: Many states have their own disability rights laws that may provide additional remedies. Your state attorney general's office can provide guidance on state-level accessibility complaints.
